5 tips to make your eyes look bigger and brighter

1) Filling in your eyebrows: It frames your face and it can make or break your look :)

2) White eyeliner or even NUDE on waterline instead of Black: Some find white eyeliner harsh and "too out there" Instead, use Nude liner. This instantly brightens and gives the illusion of bigger eyes. Use only black eyeliner on your upper lash line.

3) Highlight and contour: (You're good with 3 eyeshadows)

- Highlight using a bright/shimmery champagne eyeshadow on your inner corner of your eyes, under your eyebrows/brow bone and centre of your eyelid.

- Contour your crease and lower lash line to give your eyes a little bit of definition.

4) Curl your lashes and put on MASCARA!! If i were to only choose 1 product, i would always choose mascara. I cannot stress enough how important it is not to miss this step. I usually have 2-3 coats, rather than having just one coat. (ohh, and wiggle your wand from the bottom working your way up).

5) Do not forget to dab on concealer: Rather than using a concealer that suits your skin tone, use a Salmon-y/pinkish colour (one shade lighter than your skin) that would hide the dark cast under your eyes and cover all of those green/purple veins.

Soft Everyday Rose-y Eye Makeup using NAKED 3 palette

Soft Rose-y eye makeup look:  A hint of Pink/ Rose Gold gives a nice lil touch to the normal everyday browns and taupes. All you need are a few colours, and a little bit of contouring in the crease to give it definition.

I have been using this combo for the past 2 weeks and its just a perfect neutral that goes with anything ;)

I apologize in advance with regards to the video. i was holding my DSLR Camera with 1 hand (hence the shaky-ness & blurry-ness)  and i had to use the screen as my mirror lol

Makeup used in video:

EYES:

brow bone and inner corners: Strange
Eyelids: Burnout
Transition and crease color: Nooner
Outer v/crease: Factory
and a little bit of Dark side on lower lash line

Eyeliner: Stila Waterproof Liquid e/l
Base: MAC's painterly paint pot
Lipstick: MAC's morning rose (Limited edition)

How to: Winged Eyeliner Look/Cat Eye

Hello superfoxies!

When doing an cat eye /winged liner look, its easier if you practice with GEL eyeliner and an angled brush. Once youve mastered, then we'll move on to liquid liner. (i used MAC's fluid line and eco tool's angled brush)

First line your eyes just like how you normally do. As you can see here, the before and after look on each eye:P

then from the bottom, follow the natural curve and at the end, use it as your guide to angle up your brush. this will help you to have even lines for both eyes. its up to you how high you want it to be, i did mine just medium sized wings.

then connect  and fill in!!

aaaand you're all set!

also, play it up and be different! i added purple too. simply outline the black :)

Long-lasting Red lips

What you need:
(lipscrub, choice of lip balm, lip pencil, lippie, concealer, brush and powered)

Prep (exfoliate +moisturize) Start off with a clean fresh base so your lipstick will go on smoothly. Least thing you want is to have dry chapped red lips.

take your time. Trust me, it pays off (use lip liner and fill in) this creates a base/foundation not only for long lasting color but it also amplifies and prevents your lipstick from "bleeding".

lipstick time! then blot on tissue then set with powder to stay on for at least 6 hours. (yes, even if you eat and drink)

then CORRECT. smooth things out just to give that flawless look!

**** go easy on shine. you dont want to look like a sloppy mess. so if you do want shine, add a little bit only at the center of your lippies :)

Bridal Makeup.

She was one of the prettiest, simplest brides I've done yet turned out to be so gorgeous!!

When i was in Cosmetics school, i remember my instructor stressing the point that bridal makeup  should be CLASSIC and TIMELESS. 30 years from now, would you still love the makeup done?! Would you still look normal? Or would you cringe seeing yourself with hot pink lips? I have encountered brides who wanted "more"...because they have this thinking that the more and heavier makeup aka smokey or dark lips would be appropriate for a wedding... Personally, i prefer LESS. I would not want her face to look cake-y nor too done up. I'm all about the enhancing what every bride has...BEAUTY!

Here are my 2 cents on Bridal Makeup:

1)  Good foundations and concealers are KEY! without a good canvas/base to work on, how will your eyeshadow, blush and everything else look good? But before that, an awesome skincare routing is a must!

2) Waterproof everything. Mascara and eyelash glue most especially. Seriously. i can not even stress how important using long lasting makeup/waterproof products on brides.
If your brides have oily skin, use a setting spray and primer!

3) Soft Brown Smokey eyes are preferred. Suits everyone and looks natural. You can build it up towards the end of the night for an evening look....black is too heavy.

4) Natural looking eyelashes. Brides think its "too much" and "they wouldn't look themselves"...it actually just accentuates your look a little more. It looks awesome on pictures!

5) Lipsticks. Not lipgloss. i prefer just lipsticks with a little bit of gloss in the middle of your lips to make it fuller. Its a no no to oily looking and sticky lips!
